MONDO: Could you tell us a little about yourself and your work?

Jim Zubkavitch: My name is Jim Zubkavich. I'm a Toronto-based illustrator whose clients have included Hasbro, Capcom, Marvel Comics, White Wolf and Random House. In addition, I'm the Program Coordinator for Seneca College's 3 year Animation program. My first graphic novel, the Makeshift Miracle, was serialized online from 2001-2003 before being published by UDON Comics in 2006. MONDO: What's your game plan for TCAF? Are you debuting a new comic, selling merchandise, participating in a seminar?

JZ: I'll be there selling copies of the printed Makeshift Miracle graphic novel as well as art prints of some of my illustrations.

MONDO: What are you most looking forward to at TCAF this year?

JZ: Seeing old friends in the comic industry and making new ones. TCAF is all about the friendships and the camaraderie.

MONDO: Who are you most looking forward to meeting?

JZ: James Jean, Paul Pope, Stuart Immonen and any other comic book rock stars I can find.

MONDO: What do you think of Toronto?

JZ: Well I lived in the GTA for the majority of my life, so I must like it quite a bit. It's a clean city with great people and wonderful variety. :)
