There weren't any horrible loopholes that I remember, nothing happened that was completely stupid...it was just a simple story. The story was basically a reliable but plain vehicle for the special effects. Like a Honda or a K-car or something. It did what it was meant to do. I don't know how anyone could think Avatar has a bad story; it's a story we've all seen a dozen times over, pretty much exactly the same. That makes it boring and predictable, sure, but not BAD, you know? Meh, Avatar isn’t a CRAP story, it’s just a really simple one.
